About this Program
Mangalayatan University Online's UG Diploma in Arts (BA) is a one-year online undergraduate diploma for 12th-pass students who want to begin formal arts and humanities education with the flexibility of fully online delivery from a UGC-recognised state university in Uttar Pradesh. The programme introduces core humanities subjects — including history, political science, sociology, and English literature — providing a structured foundational credential that can be completed in one year alongside work or other commitments. The curriculum combines recorded lectures, self-study reading materials, and online assessments, making it accessible for students in remote areas. Eligibility: passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The UG Diploma in Arts serves as a standalone credential for entry-level roles in education support, administrative assistance, and NGO field work, and as a bridge for students who subsequently wish to enrol in a full BA undergraduate degree. Many universities recognise completed diploma holders for credit transfer or advanced-year entry into their undergraduate programmes.
