About this Program

Symbiosis Online's M.Sc. (Computer Applications) is a two-year postgraduate programme delivered fully online through Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL), a UGC-recognised institution, designed for graduates who want to deepen technical expertise and move into advanced roles in software engineering, systems design, or academic research. The curriculum covers advanced algorithms, machine learning, cloud computing, distributed systems, mobile computing, database architecture, and software project management — going beyond a standard MCA in its research and analytical emphasis. Live virtual sessions, recorded lectures, and guided project work provide both theoretical depth and practical application. Eligibility: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. Graduates are prepared for careers as senior software engineers, solutions architects, data scientists, system analysts, and technical leads. The degree also provides a strong foundation for doctoral research and positions in industry R&D labs across India's technology sector.
